Alluring Mountains Screensaver 2.0

A short time ago we took a look at the free-slideshow.com-offered the aptly named Green Mountains Screensaver. It is a free Windows screensaver that displays various images of mountains. We now shift focus to another free-slideshow.com-offered screensaver that is very similar, mainly alluring Mountain Screensaver.

Just like Green Mountains, Alluring Mountains is offered free of charge. You can enjoy the screensaver for as long as you want and not part with your hard earned money. Just like with Green Mountains, getting Alluring Mountains off the web and onto your computer and installing the screensaver will only take a moment. The Alluring Mountains Screensaver download weighs in at 3.6MB, which is quite lightweight. At the time of writing this and according to the developer, Alluring Mountains Screensaver works with Windows 9x, NT, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Just like with Green Mountains, Alluring Mountains lets you play with the following settings:
- Specify for how long an image will be displayed before the screensaver moves on to the next image. You can choose one of several preset values, like 10 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes.
- Select which transition effect you would like the screensaver to use.
- Adjust the speed of the transition effects.
- Choose if you want the screensaver to “Cycle through all effects”.
- Select the background color.
- Check the “Put wallpaper on desktop” option and one of the screensaver’s images will be turned into your wallpaper.

Last but not least, just like with Green Mountains, Alluring Mountains comes bundled with AutoComplete Pro (opt out during the installation process; if you cancel the installation process immediately after launching the fs-alluring-mountains.exe, AutoComplete Pro will be installed without your consent), launches your browser and directs you to the 7art-screensavers.com site once the installation process completes (does this when you uninstall the screensaver as well), and creates desktop shortcuts without asking.
